Compared to a traditional wood framed home, Insulated Concrete Form homes are extremely quiet.  Sound transmission tests prove that less than one third of the exterior sound penetrates to the interior of a home made of Insulated Concrete Forms.  This makes them ideal for areas of high ambient noise such as airports, inner cities or high traffic patterns.
