It supplies and installs such products as sump pumps, battery operated back-up sump systems, dehumidifiers, windows, and other products for basement and crawl space enhancement

Perma-Seal was started in 1979 by its present owner, Roy Spencer. Today, it has grown from 1 employee to nearly 100; from 1 truck to 30; and has successfully repaired and warranteed over 60,000 Chicagoland homes. Perma-Seal has emerged as the recognized leader in the industry as a provider of permanent state-of-the-art repairs. In addition, in 2003, Perma-Seal was honored by the Better Business Bureau with the Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics; and Roy was named by Ernst & Young as the Entrepreneur of the Year in the retail and consumer services category.

The company services the entire metropolitan Chicagoland area from its Downers Grove office and has recently opened a Hammond, IN. facility to better service NW Indiana.
